I've been having a lot weird dreams lately. They're kinda pissing me off and they're relly out of nowhere, too.
Remember that guy I had a crush on during my first semester? Well, the other day I dreamt of him. I was at the flyers try-outs and he was there. At one point I was sitting off to the side of the ice (Van was flirting with some random cute guy) and I looked over at the bench and Mr. Goalie leaned over, smiled and waved at me. I was pretty much in WTF mode for the rest of the day. For the first time in a few weeks now, I've been thinking about him alot. Then, last night, I had a nother dream with him in it. Man...it sucks to wake up after that. I feel so... UGH.
What the hell? All of a sudden he's invading my dreams. At the same time as I started thinking of him again (I didn't tell anyone at first) Mel told me something about him, randomly. She was like, "hey, Alex, you know your little crush a while back there? Well, he was our age. Born January 1st so they bumped him up a year. My brother talked to him during the season and asked him if it really was true and he said yeah. Cool eh?"

FIRST OF ALL. Why the hell didn't you tell me your g-d brother spoke to him before? AND SECONDLY, why now? Why is everyone suddenly talking about him again? I mean, really. It's hard enough knowing I prolly won't ever see him again as it is. Now I'm being reminded of his existence everywhere I go.
Hmmmmmph.
Dreams suck.
I can't wait for the Flyers tryouts...they're in two weeks. Hopefully they can get some good players. I mean, is it possible to be any worse than they were last year?
Van and I will be scouting during those two days. Who's the best skater, passer, who's got the best shot, who's consistent, who plays with passion, who can can control rebounds, who can recover fastest after a goal, who's gritty, who's a one-man, who has team-spirit, and finally, who's got the best captain potential. It should be fun.
There's gonna be a REAL scout there, too. We'll try sitting next to him to get tips and stuff. I'd love to be a scout when I grow up :) Travel the world to see rad players? HELLYEAH.
Soooo, I'm looking forward to then.
In the meantime, I'll be watching the PLAYOFFS :DD DUDDEEE already! It seems like just yesterday that I was freaking out over watching the exibition games. Ahhhhhhh Boston in the first round... wickedly entertaining :)
